Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Corby is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to integrate into their Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for you to forge a career within the manufacturing industry with an established and progressive company by assisting to the maintenance of production equipment.

The Role;

  • To deliver and maintain a planned preventative maintenance schedule on all equipment
  • To work in an efficient and safe manner on breakdown repairs on production equipment
  • To support and implement progressive improvements of our existing manufacturing processes working with both internal and external resources
  • To work with other teams within the business to deliver a common goal
  • To be included in continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency through the business
  • Participate in a safe working environment and that safe working practices are adopted at all times
  • To comply with all company rules, regulations and procedures at all times and adopt good working practices
  • Along with the Engineering Supervisor, add to training conversations to skill enrich peers
  • To deliver improvement targets (OEE) within your area of responsibility
  • Assist other engineers with production breakdowns as and when required

Our Ideal Candidate;

  • Served a recognised apprenticeship with extensive experience in maintenance
  • Experience of working in a moulding production environment desirable however not essential
  • Served time working as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
  • Be able to quickly identify problems
  • Ability to work alone and within a team environment
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours
  • Quality conscious with an awareness of health and safety
  • A willingness to undertake further relevant training
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the working environment
