Our client who has a world-class reputation for the design and manufacture of composite structures and components for the aerospace, defence and communications markets is now seeking a Production Scheduler to join their established team.

The Production Scheduler will operate under limited supervision, perform routine tasks in coordinating new customer orders, existing customer delivery schedules and finished product shipments. The successful individual will plan and prepare manufacturing production schedules and departmental workflows. An exciting role with genuine opportunity for career progression.

The Role;

  • Manage and forward new orders against the Master Production Schedule and coordinate deliveries with Production Control
  • Make additions to master schedule, expedited delivery, special requirements and replacement components
  • Maintain customer delivery dates in line with customer requirements and master production schedule
  • Allocate inventory to customer shipments and coordinate special requirements and inspections
  • Provide monthly ship from stock information to the Production Control Manager
  • Perform filing and clerical duties to ensure compliance is adhered to
  • May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

Our Ideal Candidate;

  • Working knowledge of Material Resource Planning/Material Resource Planning II and Basic CRD skills
  • Experience in production control or order scheduling, as well as standard commercial packaging procedures
  • Ability to apply a systematic discipline and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
