Shift Pattern; Monday – Friday – 1:00pm – 5:00pm / 2:00pm – 6:00pm

Location; Market Harborough, Leicestershire

Commutable from; Great Glen, Kibworth, Kettering, Corby, Leicester, Wigston, Oadby, Desborough

Our client is currently seeking to appoint a Purchase Ledger Clerk for their busy business based in Market Harborough. This is a good opportunity for long-term employment with a well respected, successful, international manufacturer. This is a part time role, working 20 – 25 hours per week, with the opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role;

  • All aspects of receiving invoices from our supplier
  • Posting and allocating the payments within the accounts system
  • Using  the various E-billing systems offered by our suppliers
  • Assisting with producing and despatching invoices
  • Regular accurate reporting of the creditors position
  • Ultimately ensuring that we pay our supplier on time and correctly
  • Assisting with month end invoicing
  • Order Processing

The Candidate;

  • Good knowledge of Excel / Word
  • Solid maths skills
  • Basic understanding of accounts processes
  • Attention to detail
  • Confident and determined telephone manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both within the company and outside
  • Knowledge of SAGE / SAP would be an advantage
  • Ideally will have worked in accounts previously
