Salary; £30,000 – £45,000, dependent on experience

Shift; Monday – Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm, overtime maybe required during busier times

Location; Shrewsbury, Shropshire

Commutable from; Wrexham, Oswestry, Market Drayton, Crewe, Telford, Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham

Our client, a prestigious company based in Shropshire is currently seeking a Workshop/Production Manager to join a friendly, innovative and creative construction team. The successful candidate will oversee and monitor all processes on site and lead the team to ensure a seamless service to their customers.

The Role;

  • Monitor and oversee the work schedule, communicating with various departments from initial concept through to completion
  • Ensure production targets are being met and meets the customers specification
  • Customer and supplier liaison as and when required
  • Oversee deliveries, ensuring goods out are leaving the workshop as per the schedule and communicate to clients if any delays are presented
  • Tracking orders and updating on the internal system
  • Accept goods in, quality and stock check upon arrival and sign relevant documentation
  • Ensure a safe working environment in the workshop and manage the skilled team
  • Manage complaints and resolve accordingly

Our Ideal Candidate;

  • Good communicator with the ability to lead a team
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and suppliers
  • Experienced in construction or a similar trade would be beneficial
  • Ideally bench joinery experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
