Our client an established contracting company that specialise in construction solutions are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their established team based in Leicester. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, customer facing and manage projects from initial concept through to completion.

***This is a permanent position and immediately available***

The Role;

  • Establish client’s requirements, cost consulting and estimating
  • Manage projects from initial tender, through to completion of project
  • Complete tender analysis, surveying and cost planning and agree contract
  • Ensure projects are delivered to agreed budget by managing project cash flow and valuations and liaising with client
  • Manage procurement and payments to all sub-contractors
  • Manage material procurement
  • Management of contractual issues and dispute resolution
  • The submission of valuations and final accounts
  • Accurate and timely reporting on all projects to both internal, external stakeholders and COSHH reporting

Our Ideal Candidate;

  • Experience of Quantity Surveying in construction is desirable, however not essential
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with customers, colleagues and suppliers
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work to set timeframes, whilst managing multiple projects
  • Ability to work using own initiate with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in all Microsoft packages and ability to learn new systems with ease
  • Driving Licence, as the role will require regular travel to client’s premises
  • Relevant qualification is desirable, however not essential
