Installation Service Engineer – Scotland – £45,000 per annum – Permanent

Job Title; Installation Service Engineer

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum

Location; Based in Livingston, Scotland however travel will be required across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East

Our client, is delighted to be recruiting an Installations Service Engineer for their UK and international client-base. The successful individual will be joining a growing Installation Specialists Team and a global market leading company.

The Installation Service Engineer Role;

• Attend customers’ sites to install and complete maintenance on processing machinery
• Whilst onsite carry out modifications and maintenance on machinery
• Complete installs on warm equipment (cooking coating), ensuring safety, quality and minimal delays
• Complete relevant documentation and record as per company process
• Train and develop Junior staff in order to strengthen the Installations Team
• Cooperate with other teams in Customer Care, Operation and Engineering when necessary
• Maximise every opportunity there is to up-sell to the customer
• Ensure on-call for client base to assist with enquiries, repairs or technical issues
• Work towards the company’s annual objectives by achieving KPIs, SLAs and ensuring quality in all customer service and work that is carried out

The Installation Service Engineer Candidate;

• Experienced in the installation and maintenance of machinery
• Experienced of working in a Food, Pharmaceutical or Chemical processing industry would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills with the ability liaise at various levels
• Ability to use initiative and resolve problems with ease
• Proficient in Microsoft packages
• Driving Licence will be required due to regular travel throughout the UK and Ireland
• Flexible with working away as regular travel will be required to Europe, visiting customers sites. At times may be away from home for a duration of up to 5 weeks
