Salary; £33,000 – £40,000 per annum

Shift; Rotating Shift Pattern, Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm and 10:00pm – 6:00am, must be flexible with working hours and overtime

Location; Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Our client a prestigious manufacturing company based in Doncaster, are seeking an electrically biased Engineer to work a rotating shift patten, including mornings, afternoons and nights. The successful candidate will provide PPM support, whilst also being on call for breakdowns throughout the working day to ensure production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. The Electrical Engineer Role;

  • Responsible for the maintenance of site equipment and systems in accordance with health and safety
  • Assist with PPM on site, at times working independently with little supervision
  • Respond to breakdowns in a quick, effective and reactive manner, ensuring production downtime is kept to a minimum
  • Diagnose faults and repair
  • Ensure parts and consumables are kept at a acceptable minimal
  • Any other maintenance duties as the business requires

Our Ideal Electrical Engineer Candidate;

  • Electrical biased Maintenance Engineer with previous manufacturing experience
  • Served a recognised apprenticeship with extensive experience in maintenance
  • Completed an electrical qualification, preferably 17th Edition course
  • Previous experience in an Engineering position
  • Completed an engineering qualification
  • Analytical and problem solving approach
  • Ability to use own initiate to resolve issues
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate on all levels
  • Flexible approach to working hours
