Job Title; Customer Service Advisor

Salary; £20,000 – £24,000 per annum

Shift Pattern; Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm, Friday 9am – 4:30pm

Location; Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Our client, a global manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their established team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and customer loyalty in order to deliver the best possible purchasing experience for customers.

The Customer Service Advisor Role;

  • Engage with customers via telephone and email to assist with their enquiries (order statuses, stock queries, etc)
  • Processing sales orders and preparing the sales paperwork
  • Follow up of order status regarding backordered items delivery dates
  • Liaise with other departments to determine order statuses, shipments, stock in order to accurately inform customers
  • Prepare customer service reports
  • Support with any other administration duties as the department requires

The Customer Service Advisor Candidate;

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service role would be advantageous 
  • Excellent knowledge of customer service practises
  • Ability to work under pressure and still provide a high standard of service
  • IT literate and the ability to learn new systems with ease
