Dispatch Controller – Coalville – £13.33 per hour – Temp to Perm

Job Title; Dispatch Controller 

Salary; £13.33 per hour 

Shift Pattern; Monday – Friday 7.00am-3.00pm and 8.00am-4.00pm 

Location; Coalville, Leicestershire

We now have an opportunity for a Dispatch Controller to join an established company. You will assist the Logistics Manager and ensure transport is arranged to meet orders.The ideal candidate will need to have strong communication skills, great time management and leadership skills.  

***Temporary to Permanent opportunity with long term progression available***

The Dispatch Controller Role;

• Supervise and train a small team
• Observing and promoting safe working practices 
• Checking off deliveries for dispatch 
• Ensuring vehicles are loaded and deliveries are met to schedule 
• Oversee goods in and stores area (ensuring items are picked for dispatch and supervising the delivery of products)
• Ensuring material requirements are in place and raising/resolving material shortages

The Dispatch Controller Candidate;

• Key attention to detail 
• Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative to complete tasks
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and MRP Systems 
• Accredited Combilift and Counterbalance Forklift advantageous 
• Supervisory experience
