Job Title; Workshop Operative

Salary; £19,760 per annum 

Shift Pattern; 6:00am – 2:30pm and/or 8:00am – 4:30pm

Location; Oakham, Rutland

Our client, a , are seeking a Workshop Operative with a good knowledge of electromechanical engineering to join their team! The role consists of supporting with general workshop duties in order to maintain production levels across all machinery.

The Workshop Operative Role;

• Dismantle, overhaul and reassemble machinery which needs to be repaired
• Basic maintenance on plant machinery, tools and equipment
• Supporting the Engineering department across all areas of the business
• General workshop duties as and when required

The Workshop Operative Candidate;

• Basic mechanical knowledge and/or keen interest in mechanics
• Flexible in approach to work
• Able to work in a team or individually
• Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
