Location; Corby, Northamptonshire

Our client is seeking an experienced Machine Setter to join their established manufacturing company based in Corby. The successful candidate will play an integral part of the Production Team, ensuring that products are manufactured according to the current production plan. You will undertake regular checks to ensure that products are made to the customers’ specifications and daily/weekly requirements are met in the most efficient and cost-effective way.

***This is a permanent role and immediately available***

The Machine Setter Role;

• Set up machines for production and/or sampling, ensuring standard setting procedures are adhered to
• Ensure that all tools and machines are set up to the requirements of the Quality Control/Setting Sheet for the relevant job
• Complete the relevant Production Control/Quality Control documentation and machine log books as necessary
• Ensure any processing or tooling faults are noted and communicated
• Correct processing faults with machines
• Ensure that all relevant documentation is completed neatly and correctly and ensure machines are running to correct cycle
• Checking daily schedules with the Shift Supervisor and checking ongoing activities from previous shift

• Self-motivated individual with the ability to work from own initiative, unsupervised and within a team
• Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate at all levels
• Experienced in operating machinery 
• Flexible working approach, reliable and possess good time-keeping
• Engineering experience would be advantageous
