Estimator – Ratby – Up to £30,000 per annum – Permanent

Job Title; Estimator 

Salary;£26,000 – £30,000 per annum

Shifts; Monday – Friday, 40 hours 

Location; Ratby Leicestershire  

Our client, a leading construction company based in Leicestershire are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their friendly yet professional team. Reporting into the Estimating Manager, the successful applicant will adopt a methodical and thorough approach to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.

***Please note this is an office based role, where the successful applicant will be based in Ratby.

The Estimator Role;

• Answering incoming calls to general enquiries 
• Meeting customers face to face to understand project requirements
• Liaising across the Sales and Customer Service Teams to discuss project details and ensure information is accurate 
• Reviewing tender documentations in order to generate and present quotations to customers 
• Adding estimates onto the internal costing system 
• Supporting the Estimator Manager with additional tasks as required 

Our Ideal Estimator Candidate;

• Previous experience of working in an Estimating role 
• Good problem solving skills with the ability to use own initiative 
• Good numeracy skills 
• Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Excel, Word and Outllook
• Previous experience of working in the construction sector would be advantageous however not essential
• Driving Licence required due to some travel required, visiting clients sites occasionally
