Salary;38,000  per annum

Shifts; Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours however additional hours will be required

Location; Newark, Nottinghamshire 

Jacob Thomas Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, an Effluent Treatment Plant, due to rapid growth within their unique organisation.  Our client is seeking a number of experienced Service Fitters to join their established Engineering Team. The successful applicants will possess experience within a mechanical background, be technically minded and able to travel throughout the UK as the business requires.

The Service Plant Fitter Role;

• A dynamic role where by the successful applicants will oversee and manage the entire project life cycle from initial design through to install onsite 
• Create technical drawings 
• Manufacture and fabricate products in preparation for install, working with materials such as plastics and various metals and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail 
• Visiting customers and installing the products with a very wide and varied client base 
• Carryout maintenance, repairs, modifications and upgrades onsite 
• Liaise with customers and the internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved 
• Manage workload and diary, ensuring deadlines are met 
• Report into the Engineering Manager and ensure all documentation is accurately stored 

Our Ideal Service Plant Fitter Candidate;

• Previous experience of working in a Water Plant would be advantageous however not essential 
• Able to read and create technical drawings in line with customers expectations 
• Operated as a Fitter, Fabricator or Plater 
• Engineering background 
• Problem Solving skills 
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential due to the role being field based
