Job Title: SAP Administrator

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday

Location: Tibshelf, Derbyshire


Our client is a leading metal extrusion company are looking for a SAP Administrator. The successful applicant will be responsible for all Movex and SAP Hana related activities for current and upcoming projects and the day to day upkeep of the system in accordance to requirements.

The SAP Administrator Role:

  • Work alongside the Commercial team and supply chain to formulate rooting & Item Set Up requirements whilst working in line with lead times and batch quantities
  • Co-ordinate the flow of new item set-up, including confirming the specification involved, batch quantities and how long the process will take
  • Facilitate the gaining of information regarding rooting and batch quantities for projects
  • Create new work centres, alloys, or specifications where applicable.
  • Support the Planner with production/sub-contract within Movex and/or SAP Hana
  • Support the Planner with creating all customer packaging within Movex and/or SAP Hana and adding to all BOMS
  • Ensure the day to day upkeep of Movex and/or SAP Hana.
  • Work through rootings for all current projects/new business whilst validating accuracy of data and making amendments wherever necessary
  • Establish a working process for all new projects for the business to follow so to ensure all areas are captured
  • Support the Commercial Manager and department in the upcoming transferral of system move to SAP. Duties may include, but are not limited to, data cleansing, data migration, set up of items within the new system, training, process mapping
  • Support the Internal Sales team with ad-hoc duties until SAP Hana is fully implemented. Duties may include, but are not limited to, order entry, RFQ support, general admin tasks
  • Travel to other sites may be required in exceptional circumstances

  • Maintain high standards of individual housekeeping and 5s
