Having worked in both a customer service role and education, inspired by our children, Thomas and Jacob, Nick and I incorporated Jacob Thomas Associates in 2007 to provide a workplace that develops all.

I love everything outdoors, gardening and hiking have been my passion for years and in my downtime, reading a good book or watching the latest box office movie is a must.
Having been with Jacob Thomas since conception it’s been an amazing journey! I came from a long career within commercial aviation where customer service was paramount and can honestly say that the level of service Jacob Thomas provides its customers far exceeds that which I was accustomed to in previous years. From the outset, it was clear that the vision for the business was to provide the very best of everything it was involved in and this was truly refreshing. Watching the company grow from strength to strength, having been on the journey all the way, and seeing the Jacob Thomas family grow is incredible!
I guess I would be described as someone with a mischievous sense of humour. I like to look at the positive things in life and love spending time with my family and friends. Being an Aussie I take great pride in showing all the Brits the true meaning of the word BBQ!!
I commenced working for Jacob Thomas Associates in June 2015 joining as a Trainee Consultant and have progressed my career through to Business Centre Manager. It’s fantastic to work for a company who are growing and for owners who share its workers’ ambitions not only professionally but personally.
I have always enjoyed the variety of what each day brings within my role. The time invested and training provided have set me up to be successful in providing expert customer service and the ability to create recruitment solutions for industrial and commercial businesses across the country. When I’m not head down focussing on the next customer to serve I spend the rest of my time with my Fiancé Sarah and our three children Noah, Barney and Blossom. Avid Leicester City fan, petrol head and live music fan.
Being with JTA since late September 2019, I have had the luxury of a range of opportunities in multiple areas of the business to further strengthen my professional and personal development floating around in multiple departments, however, most significantly with the enrolment and successful completion of Financial Management and MBA Essentials CPD courses with LSE have tailored my confidence in my role as Financial Controller. JTA has offered and given me many life-changing key skills, experiences, fundamental values, morals and a deep understanding of business.

I am a quick-witted dry-humoured individual who spends the majority of his free time either cooking, working out or experimenting with photography. I enjoy many many genres of music, collecting vinyl and whenever possible, I progress my guitar and piano playing.
I commenced working with JTA back in 2010 after being a chef for 15 years. This was a big career move and change of scenery after moving back to Leicester from Warwickshire.
I find working at Jacob Thomas Associates fun, exciting and a new challenge every day, from starting in the payroll department I have been given the opportunity to progress through to being a full consultant. I was awarded the Temp controller of the year for how I control and speak to my temporary staff.
Outside of work I enjoy Formula 1, especially a big fan of Ayton Senna who changed the sport forever. I also enjoy films and anything investigative (NCIS, CSI). My friends would consider me to be a good laugh and always up for going out to music festivals.
I Joined JTA in January 2020 as a Trainee Consultant following almost 4 years of experience working within the recruitment sector, and through dedication and a clear career pathway, I have been promoted to a Consultant. On a day-to-day basis, I assist clients and candidates offering the excellent service and customer satisfaction that we provide. It is great to be part of a team that all want to achieve, offering my support to newer team members.
I am very much family orientated, enjoy cooking Caribbean food in my spare time, and my friends would describe me as patient, considerate and talkative. I am always happy to help – as going above and beyond is what I am all about.
