Having worked in both a customer service role and education, inspired by our children, Thomas and Jacob, Nick and I incorporated Jacob Thomas Associates in 2007 to provide a workplace that develops all.

Jacob Thomas Associates has just turned fourteen and it is a constant delight to look back over the years in recognition of all the great work that the business has achieved for all those it has touched. I commenced working for Jacob Thomas Associates in June 2015 and have always enjoyed the variety of what each day brings within my role. The time invested and training provided has set me up to be successful in providing expert customer service and ability to create recruitment solutions for the industrial and commercial businesses across the country.
During 2020 we weathered the storm of COVID 19 and have come back stronger than ever. From the first instance of COVID being a threat to businesses across the country it was clear that our customers needed an extra level of support and reassurance. We are proof of standing firm throughout and we are proud to continue to operate with a strong team driven to provide the best service to our new and existing customers.

When I’m not head down focussing on the next customer to serve I spend the rest of my time with my Fiancé Sarah and our three children Noah, Barney and Blossom. Avid Leicester City fan, petrol head and live music fan.
I joined JTA for a short while back in 2013 after leaving college and started as a Trainee Consultant. Since leaving the business I have been working predominantly within B2B sales and development roles supplying a number of products and services.
Fast forward 7 years and I have found myself back to the place my career started – a professional team with a real family ethos (the reason I have come back). I am really excited to be back working for the business as I have a passion for the success of the business and I know the great things we can achieve for our clients but also for the future of JTA.
I am back in the business in a new role and I will be managing the Business Development team to ensure we can continue with the excellent services we provide to current clients but also explore avenues to service new clients so they can experience the excellent customer service and supply of qualified staffing solutions we offer.
Outside of work you will most likely find me sat by some water trying to fish.. or out surfing (not in Leicester obviously!)
‘I have recently joined JTA as a Trainee Consultant, with almost 4 years experience working within the recruitment sector. My goal at JTA is to become a qualified consultant which would be a step forward in my career. Although I haven’t been with JTA for long, I feel like part of the team already and I’m certain I can achieve my personal goal in a timely manner, with the support of my colleagues. I am very much family orientated, and enjoy cooking Caribbean food in my spare time. My friends would describe me as patient, considerate and talkative. Going above and beyond is what I’m all about’
I have been a member of the JTA team since January 2020 and with the excellent guidance and support of my colleagues I have progressed professionally and hope to become a key member of JTA’s future success.
I am proud to have achieved one of my goals which was to be promoted from Trainee Consultant too Junior to Consultant and now to Consultant. The future looks very promising and I am very excited about my future with JTA. I can’t wait to support our clients and candidates even further!
Personally I enjoy planning trips with friends, spending time with family or watching the football!
I joined JTA in March 2014 as a Business Centre Administrator.
Since the beginning I’ve been working in the payroll department and feeling satisfied in this position.

Being with JTA since late September 2019 I have had the luxury of being given a range of opportunities in multiple areas of the business to further strengthen my professional, and personal development floating around in multiple departments, however, most significantly with the enrolment and successful completion of Financial Management and MBA Essentials CPD courses have tailored my confidence in my role as Financial Controller. JTA has offered and given me many life-changing key skills, experiences, fundamental values, morals and a deep understanding of business.

I am a quick-witted dry-humoured individual who spends the majority of his free time either cooking, working out or experimenting with photography. I enjoy many many genres of music, collecting vinyl and whenever possible, I progress my guitar and piano playing.
